Few houses have these views and the cove a two-minute walk away.
From the garden, the pool and the covered terrace the whole bay opens up, with Portitxol island straight ahead and the hills all around. And the light: clear, Mediterranean, the kind that changes the house hour by hour.
Two floors, three bedrooms and plenty of room for eight people to share comfortably: breakfast on the terrace, a swim in the pool and a walk down to the cove.

The light
Sunrise over the island.
In summer the sun rises out of the sea, right above Portitxol island, and the naya – the covered terrace – is the front row. Then breakfast outside and lunch in the shade, always with the sea in front.

The cove
From the door to the shore, on foot.
The house is on Carrer de la Barraca, the street that runs down to Cala del Portitxol. In summer, car access to the beach is controlled by a barrier and the car park fills up early. From Casa Bonita you walk down with a towel over your shoulder and come back whenever you like.

“The house is in a fantastic location, in one of the most beautiful coves in the area. Jávea town is just a 10-minute drive away, and Portichol Cove is only a 5-minute walk from the house — just don’t forget your water shoes. It’s incredible to have a BBQ with those stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea or take a refreshing dip in the pool. Our family stayed there and we were absolutely delighted by the peace and quiet of the area, as well as the comfort and layout of the house.”
